East Bay Community Action Program (EBCP) is seeking a full-time Family Service Manager who provides day-to-day direction and oversight to the assigned staff at the assigned school location/district, while also providing direct service as a Family Service Coordinator.

Provide day-to-day direction and oversight to Family Services Coordinators and Student and Family Engagement Specialists for assigned school(s). Compile monthly data reports for the Family Resources Office. Attend district truancy meeting and provide background and propose appropriate interventions. Document activities using both school district and EBCAP reporting systems. Document positive/negative impact (improved attendance, grades, behavior) of interventions in compliance with funding sources.  Track outcomes identified by assigned school/school district and EBCAP. Maintain truancy data and prepare attendance reports. Promote school attendance and encourage student’s attachment to school

The Family Service Manager will have a minimum of a BA/BS Degree in the human service field and two years of applicable experience engaging and supporting students/families through academic success OR equivalent two years toward a college degree and four years experience as articulated above.
