East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full-time Lead Home Visitor for our Early Head Start (EHS) and Head Start (HS) program, as well as our Parents As Teachers (PAT) program. The Lead Home Visitor will provide supervision, training, and evaluation of EHS/HS Home Visitors and PAT Educators. The successful candidate will identify the learning needs of staff and provide training resources and professional development opportunities. The Lead Home Visitor will engage in and supervise recruitment for home-based services, parent activities, and educational, health and nutrition requirements as required by EHS/HS and PAT programs.
EBCAP is offering a two-step sign-on bonus totaling $1,000 to external applicants.
The Lead Home Visitor will function within an intra-agency multidisciplinary team approach and will identify and build community and state partnerships.

The position requires a minimum of a Master’s Degree in a Human Service field, Child Development, or Health related field. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of community resources and enjoy working with children and families. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, however, not required.
