East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant to work in our Peer Recovery Center in our Warren location. The Administrative Assistant will provide a wide variety of administrative and clerical support to improve and maintain the efficient operation of the East Bay Recovery Center.

Successful candidate will be responsible for providing clerical, administrative, and operational assistance to assigned staff within the Eat Bay Recovery Center. Special focus will include administratively supporting Peer Recovery Staff so they may provide more peer-recovery services directly with clients.  Schedule standard and ad hoc meetings, ensuring appropriate rooms are booked, and/or electronic meeting software (Microsoft Teams, Zoom), is utilized.  Send out meeting requests and track attendance. Schedule individual and group sessions for Peer Specialists using NexGen software. Check in members using NexGen software which includes confirming demographics and insurance verification.  Provide other administrative support duties as assigned by supervisor.

Previous experience as an administrative assistant strongly preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Peer Recovery certification and/or knowledge of Recovery Philosophy preferred.  The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge with office management systems and program procedures.
