As the Corporate Relations and Events Officer, you will be responsible for the design, sale and management of the corporate donation and sponsorship program for both the MA and RI campuses, including pipeline development, cultivation and stewardship. You will be responsible for the design, planning and execution of fundraising special events including, but not limited to, Telethon (January, MA & RI), Memorial Ceremonies (May, MA & RI), South County Summer Cocktail Party (June, RI), Fishing for a Cause (June, MA), Halloween (October, MA & RI), Donor Cultivation events (2+ per year) and Third Party Fundraisers, as arise. You will be responsible for the administrative lifecycle of each event, including: creation / management of event budgets and progress reports; committee / volunteer cultivation and stewardship; workplan development and execution; vendor identification, selection and management; and the related coordination with internal Meeting Street departments (i.e. Facilities, Finance). You will work in collaboration with the Marketing Manager to create and execute a marketing plan in support of special event engagement, including event descriptions, donor e-mail blasts, invitations, and online / social media campaigns. You will work closely with the Donor Engagement Manager to manage all data associated with event marketing, registration, attendance and donor acknowledgement. You will secure donations for, build (online) and manage the auctions for both the Meeting Street Telethon and Fishing for a Cause. You will act as point of contact and manage all contracts and payments from corporate partners and vendors.
