Medical Assistant Lead $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistant Lead for our Health Center at 100 Bullocks Point Avenue in East Providence, RI. We are seeking a highly professional and motivated individual who enjoys working with clients in a community health setting.  Join our expanding dynamic multidisciplinary team and provide comprehensive patient care using a care team model.

EBCAP is offering a two-step sign-on bonus totaling $1,000 for external applicants.

The Medical Assistant Lead provides day-to-day oversight of workflow assignments of Medical Assistants, as well as new and ongoing training of medical assistant staff.  Point person for several initiatives within the program. Prepare and publicize monthly staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage at assigned site.

The Medical Assistant Lead is required to have a High School Diploma/equivalent and have completed a medical assistant training from an accredited Medical Assistant Program. Certification in Basic Life Support is required. The successful candidate will have experience in electronic medical record (EMR), however, would receive training in EBCAP’s EMR which is Next Gen. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred, however, not required.
