Health Information Technology Specialist $1,000 Sign-on Bonus (EBCAP1005)
East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full-time Health Information Technology (HIT) Specialist. We are seeking an individual who can support, improve/enhance, and maximize the operability of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), which includes medical, behavioral health, and dental services.
EBCAP is offering a two-step sign-on bonus totaling $1,000 for external applicants.
The Health Information Technology (HIT) Specialist will assist appropriate staff to support, improve/enhance, and maximize the operability of the EMR. Continually audit system to detect areas of improvement and respond to requests for assistance to troubleshoot issues raised by administrative and clinical staff through “tickets”. Create, run, and analyze various reports from EHR in support of various initiatives, such as Grants, 3rd Party governance, UDS/FTCA reporting requirements, and internal needs.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience with NextGen EMR that includes report building, interoperability of EMR and PM, and File Maintenance. Organized documentation skills are a must. Previous involvement with quality reporting such as CMS, UDS and HEDIS preferred.
