East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) has an immediate opening for a full-time Youth Center Coordinator, located at 31 Grove Ave, Weaver Building, East Providence, RI.
EBCAP is offering a two-step sign-on bonus totaling $1,000 for external applicants.

The Youth Center Coordinator (YCC) will assist the Senior Director of Workforce Development & Social Services (WFD&SS) with the integration of work readiness activities into all identified Workforce Development programs at EBCAP. In coordination with the local Chambers of Commerce, will establish and maintain employer understanding of and participation in all workforce education and youth development programming implemented by EBCAP. Work with school-based personnel and youth workforce system personnel to provide employment readiness for hard-to-serve populations and link workforce initiatives to the overall workforce development activities in the region.
Will be the primary point of contact for the upper bay Youth Center WIOA and Real Skills programs; and will coordinate the WIOA and Real Skills enrollment and services for the lower bay with the Director of Education and Career Pathways (DECP). Supervise the Youth Center Case Manager and perform all duties articulated in the Youth Center Case Manager’s job description.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services or related field, and a minimum of 2 years related experience required. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
Must have demonstrated case management skills and experience. An understanding of emergency intervention methods, family dynamics, health, mental health and substance abuse systems and knowledge of community resources is preferred.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
