East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full time Manager of Strategic Initiatives who will report to the Vice President of Health Administration/Chief Strategy Officer at 100 Bullocks Point Avenue in East Providence, RI. The Manager of Strategic Initiatives will be key in the design, planning, implementation, monitoring, and/or maintenance of a variety of clinical projects and programs under the direction of clinical leadership. She/He will investigate, create, implement, review, and improve assigned projects that support both new and ongoing business projects for our Health Centers. All work is in compliance with federal and state regulations, Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) and Joint Commission accreditation guidelines, and state licensing requirements.
EBCAP is offering a two-step sign-on bonus totaling $1,000 for external applicants.
The Manager of Strategic Initiatives key focus will include projects such as: the 340(B) Pharmacy Program, grant writing, research and development of new books of business, and overall project oversight. The Manager of Strategic Initiatives will develop policies and procedures, perform ongoing analysis, audits, and data validation of the programs to ensure accurate and optimal performance, manage relationships with the Center’s wholesalers and contract pharmacies, coordinate operational efforts from supporting departments, participate in development and roll out of additional program opportunities, and create program and financial reports for the Finance Department and agency leadership.
The Manager of Strategic Initiatives must have an advanced degree in either healthcare leadership, healthcare management or other related field. The successful candidate will have experience managing a 340B covered entity with grant-based eligibility required. The successful candidate will have experience in electronic medical record (EMR), however, would receive training in EBCAP’s EMR, which is NextGen.
