East Bay Community Action Program (EBCP) is seeking a Project Coordinator for our Health Equity Zone (HEZ) in Warren, and in Bristol. You will assist one or more EBCAP Directors for the HEZ in all aspects of grant management and coordination, grant reporting, and collaboration with Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) and community partners to achieve the goals and objectives of the HEZ. The Project Coordinator will provide critical support of community engagement efforts and will have a key role in maintaining administrative and financial systems. The Project Coordinator ensures that all services are delivered in a respectful, responsive, flexible, comprehensive, individualized and culturally competent manner adhering to EBCAP’s Family Development philosophy.

Assist Director HEZ with grant management and coordination, grant reporting, and collaboration efforts with grantor and partner organizations

Ensure HEZ staff are trained to deliver services that are compliant with EBCAP’s Organizational Policies and Procedures, as well as the philosophy of the Family Development Division.

Schedule appropriate number of staff needed for events, such as Community Health Workers (CHW), Family Navigators, Program Coordinators, Community Outreach Specialists, interns and other volunteers, etc., ensuring event hours have sufficient coverage and that attending staff have sufficient breaks.  Attend community engagement events when needed.

Conceptualize and produce reports to support grant funding requirements, outcome measures, etc.

Minimum Required Education:

High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) required
Minimum of one-year work experience in community engagement and outreach and/or related field preferred.
