Credentialing & Payroll Specialist $2,000 Sign-On Bonus (EBCAP1018)

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCP) is seeking a full-time Compliance & Payroll Specialist to Assist the Director of Compliance & Credentialing (DCC) with all tasks that support EBCAP’s Human Resources Compliance & Credentialing Program.

EBCAP is offering a two-step sign on bonus totaling $2,000 for external applicants.

  • Coordinate all facets of privileging/credentialing across the organization for all disciplines/services governed by HRSA and the JC that exist within EBCAP’s various scopes of service.
  • Ensure that privileging/credentialing renewals are completed efficiently and before expiration dates.
  • Run reports and monitor clinical license & certification expiration dates, obtaining primary source verification of initial and renewal dates, and updating Human Resources HR/Payroll Database (AKA HRIS – currently migrating Paylocity to ADP) appropriately.
  • Oversee Performance Management (probationary reviews, competency assessments, corrective actions, annual appraisals, etc.) collection, data entry, and reporting utilizing the HRIS.
  • Assist the DCC with “data mining” (dig, audit, compile, edit, and report) anything that the VP of HR, DCC, or any other position/entity needs from the HR department.  Examples include, but are not limited to staffing reports for HRSA, grant submission, Uniform Data Systems (UDS) staffing/finance reports, EEO-1 & 2, BH productivity, workers compensation audits/policy renewals, privileging/credentialing lists for HRSA, FTCA, BHDDH, JC, etc.

Minimum Required Education:

Comprehensive and documented experience with privileging/credentialing process in community health, behavioral health, and/or hospital settings. Licensing and accreditation affecting, with special focus on those affecting Human Resources.  Strong HRIS and organizational skills to balance multiple tasks and timelines.  Prior experience utilizing ADP and/or Paylocity is a strong plus.
