The Foundation is currently seeking a Technology and Data Steward, to support all IT efforts at our One Union Station location and within the cloud infrastructures of the Foundation. This position is not fully remote.

The Technology and Data Steward participates in organizational governance activities, has a solid understanding of the data needs of the business, and is a key implementer, and enforcer of data policies, processes, procedures, and standards. The position ensures the integrity of data across all systems. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential to successfully filling the requirements of this job.

This position is an integral part of the Technology and Operations department and is tasked with working closely with the Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of Operations, and under the supervision of the Technology Solutions Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in the field of IT/Computer Science, Information Management, and/or two to three years of work experience. In addition, familiarity with database concepts, proficiency in queries and report writing, previous exposure to cloud data integration and management, experience at document writing for systems, a strong understanding of data entry best practices, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary. Candidates should also have experience with Microsoft 365 deployments and Microsoft Power BI, or other business intelligence tools. Specific knowledge of Foundant products is a plus.
